Is Marblehead High in Distress?

American flag flies upside down; an officially recognized signal of distress.

An alert citizen captured this picture of the flag flying today at Marblehead High and posted it on FaceBook.

As a maritime town, many Marbleheaders know that flying an American flag upside down represents a call for help, especially on the water.

A quick call to the School and the mistake was recognized and corrected there was no emergency.
