Marblehead Homeowner Sued For Neglected Property
Homeowner of neglected property on Prospect Street in Marblehead was recently sued by the Town of Marblehead.

MARBLEHEAD, MA - A neglected property on Prospect Street in Marblehead is the center of a lawsuit filed by the town, according to Salem News.
Diane Devine, who currently lives at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers moved out of the home at 60 Prospect St. two years ago.
According to town officials, the home has become a nuisance to neighbors, unfit for human habitation, and has raccoons living in the chimney.

Devine told the Salem News she plans to sell the property, which is assessed by the town at $390,100, and use the proceeds to pay off nearly $5,000 in unpaid property taxes and the cost of the cleanup. You can read the full article at Salem News here.
