Residents who experience discolored water in the morning should run sink faucets on cold until it clears.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Water hydrant flushing could cause some discolored water in the town on a rolling basis throughout next week.
The Water Department will conduct its annual flushing program beginning Sunday night at 11 p.m. Flushing will run from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. in different neighborhoods throughout the week.
Residents could experience discolored water early in the mornings. Those who see brownish water should run the cold water in your sink until the water runs clear.
