Marblehead Little Theatre Announces Children's Fall Programs

Marblehead Little Theatre’s fall children’s schedule for children 7 to 12 begins on Monday, September 21 at 4 p.m. at the Firehouse at 12 School Street and runs from 4 to 6 p.m. for seven weeks on Mondays and Thursdays, culminating in shows for the public the weekend of November 6-8. For kids 5 to 7 years old, Littles Theatre’s classes are conducted on Thursdays from 3 to 4 p.m. for six weeks beginning September 10, ending with a 10-minute play at the final class on October 15. This fall’s production for the older children will be “Princess Whatsername”, featuring a girl who awakens in a forest and cannot remember anything. She embarks on a journey to discover her identity, and meets several fairy-tale characters including Goldilocks, Snow White and Cinderella. Instructors for both programs are MLT veterans Lynda Johnson and Ginny Morton, with Janet Sheehan as Music Director for “Princess Whatsername”.
