Marblehead Man Charged: Assault and Battery With Dangerous Weapon

Tuesday, Oct. 29

8:42 a.m., a Creesy Street caller reported that a mail package was possibly stolen.

9:40 a.m., a 57-year-old woman was transported to the hospital from an Atlantic Avenue location after suffering a seizure.

2:44 p.m., a Sevinor Road caller reported an argument at her home over food shopping, the caller claiming money that was set aside for food was used for something else.

7:51 p.m., a walk-in to the police station said he and his girlfriend had got into a fight at dinner and she hit him a few times. The man wanted police to accompany him while he went to the apartment to remove a few things. 

Police ended up charging Robert Jenkins, 62, of 30 Bessom St., Apt. C, Marblehead, with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

9:10 p.m., a Vine Street caller reported a hit and run. She said her parked vehicle was struck and the vehicle left the area. A witness followed the vehicle. Police contacted Saugus police about the incident and the investigation continues.
