Marblehead Memory Café Will Feature Special Guest This November
Marblehead Memory Café Will Feature Special Guest This November.

Monthly Memory Café in Marblehead will feature a special guest activity presenter this November. This month we are happy to announce The Residence Inn at Vinnin Square in Swampscott will be carrying out our café’s activity.
The Residence at Vinnin Square is a premier independent living, assisted living and memory care community. “We are delighted to welcome the Residence Inn team as this month’s guest activity presenter for our cafe!”, said Celeste Begley Community Relations Director at Right at Home Boston and North. Attendees will create art, handle tactile art pieces that are selected to encourage reminiscent thinking, which helps those with dementia and their cognitive functions. “We are planning to have a delightful holiday activity sure to excite all who attend”, said Celeste. In addition to the activity, light refreshments including healthy snacks and beverages will be served at the café.

A Memory Café is a welcoming and safe place for people with dementia or other changes in their thinking and their family, friends and caretakers to come gather together. For those that require the personal support of another must be accompanied by a caretaker. All café's share these goals: to help guests feel comfortable and know they are not alone. They are a place to talk with others who understand what you are going through, to leave behind limitations and instead focus on strengths.
Please join us for the next Memory Café held on Tuesday November 13th from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church located at 135 Lafayette Street, Marblehead, MA 01945. The café runs the second Tuesday of each month from 1:00PM-3:00PM. This is a free event brought to you by Right at Home Boston and North In-Home Care and Assistance Agency.
