Marblehead resident and professional hockey player Cory Schneider, 27, was recently traded from the Vancouver Canucks o the New Jersey Devil's, according to an article in the Salem News.
Schneider, a goaltender, was traded for the number 9 pick in the draft. Once in New Jersey, he'll be working with teammate Martin Brodeur.
“I’ve been a fan of Marty Brodeur’s since I was younger,” Schneider said on the Devil's website.
