Marblehead To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Wakefield
The Magicians take on the Warriors in the first round of the football tournament.
MARBLEHEAD, MA – Undefeated Marblehead heads to the MIAA Football North Division 1 tournament, taking on Wakefield Oct. 27 at home.
The Magicians, seeded second with a 7-0 record, will kick off the tournament against the seventh-seeded Warriors, who enter the tournament with a 3-4 record.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
