Marblehead Patrolman Visits Sister Police Department on Cross Country Trip

Marblehead, Ohio spans 4.3 square miles and is home to just 1,000 residents.

MARBLEHEAD – A Marblehead patrolman and his sister made a stop in Ohio during a cross-country trip to visit the town's sister police department.

Motorcycle Patrolman Nick Michaud and his sister Allie Roy-Michaud, a 911 Center Dispatcher, while on a road trip across the United States, visited the Marblehead Ohio Police Department Thursday night for an "impromptu visit," MPD said on Facebook.

In Marblehead, Ohio, Michaud and his sister met up with a fellow officer who spent time with the duo and shared information about the sister department and the community it serves. Michaud and the officer traded shoulder patches, "a long-time tradition within the police community," the MPD said.
