The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department’s log:

Saturday, May 17:

  • At 8:30 a.m., police responded to a report of low wire on Ocean Avenue.
  • At 10:08 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Washington Street.
  • At 12:19 p.m., police responded to a report of mulch blocking a drain near the intersection of Green and Lattimer streets.
  • At 2:15 p.m., a Carol Road woman entered the police station to report that someone cut the tulips in front of her house sometime last week.
  • At 2:56 p.m., a resident entered the police station to report finding an American Express card at a gas station in Swampscott. The owner later retrieved the card at the station.
  • At 4:04 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Front Street.
  • At 4:15 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street.
  • At 4:21 p.m., police responded to a report of a downed tree branch on Washington Street.
  • At 4:56 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Front Street.
  • At 7:26 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Lincoln Avenue.
  • At 7:52 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Arnold Terrace.
  • At 7:59 p.m., police responded to a report of past threats on Gerry Street.
  • At 8:11 p.m., police responded to a report of an overturned kayak found in the water off of Ram Island. The US Coast Guard and the Environmental Police Department sent boats to search the water. Two young kayakers reportedly swam ashore and were taken in on Atlantic Avenue. One of the children may have sustained lacerations.
  • At 8:27 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Pleasant Street.
  • At 10:10 p.m., police responded to a report of kids screaming on Victoria Lane.
  • At 10:11 p.m., police responded to a report of past harassment on Saturn Road.


Sunday, May 18:

  • At 12:09 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Village Street.
  • At 12:15 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Pleasant Street.
  • At 1:11 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Pleasant Street.
  • At 10:27 a.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over credit cards and a receipt they found in the bushes on Gerry Street.
  • At 10:28 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report that a boat fell off of a trailer and is partly in the street on Elm Street.
  • At 11:50 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report a missing black and white kitten.
  • At 1:02 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Arnold Terrace.
  • At 1:39 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Green Street.
  • At 2:45 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Pleasant Street.
  • At 5:32 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Washington Street.
  • At 5:39 p.m., police responded to a report of past vandalism on Farrell Court.
  • At 6:08 p.m., police responded to a report of an overweight couple with a small infant child shooting a BB gun at each other on Atlantic Avenue. Officers later located the four people involved and the Department of Children & Families was contacted.
  • At 7:53 p.m., police responded to a report of kids throwing rocks at boats on Commercial Street.
  • At 10:24 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Chestnut Street.
  • At 11:38 p.m., a Green Street Court woman called police to report someone knocking on her back window.
