Marblehead Police Arrest Alleged Repeat Drunk Driver After Crash

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 


Wednesday, May 7:

  • At 9:01 a.m., police responded to an attempted phone scam on Ramsay Road.
  • At 10:02 a.m., police responded to a report of vandalism on Fort Sewall Terrace.
  • At 10:50 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Clifton Avenue.
  • At 10:50 a.m., a resident called police to report losing a diamond at the carnival on Ocean Avenue.
  • At 5:44 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Elm Street.
  • At 7:12 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Street. Normita M. Snow-Creeden, 53, of 8 Summit Ave., Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, third offense, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. 

Thursday, May 8: 

  • At 12:28 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Gerald Road.
  • At 2:08 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Ocean Avenue.
