Clifton Avenue Resident Reports Scamming Attempt

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:
Wednesday, June 4:
- At 7:46 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Green Street.
- At 7:48 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Green Street.
- At 8:06 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Saturn Road.
- At 9:12 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report suspicious activity on Nicholson Street.
- At 10:23 a.m., a Clifton Avenue resident called police to report a possible scamming attempt.
- At 10:51 a.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over found ammunition for destruction.
- At 10:58 a.m., an Evans Road woman called police to report that she had been the victim of identity theft.
- At 11:15 a.m., police responded to a 911 hang-up from an elevator phone inside Abbot Hall. The custodian was notified and agreed to check to see if there was an issue.
- At 1:18 p.m., police responded to a dispute between neighbors on Pleasant Street.
- At 1:42 p.m., police responded to parking complaint on Barnard Street.
- At 2:30 p.m., police and fire units responded to a fire alarm on Elizabeth Road.
- At 3:32 p.m., police and fire units responded to a fire alarm on Farrell Court.
- At 4:36 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Brook Road.
- At 5:15 p.m., an Arthur Road resident entered the police station to report that his car was keyed overnight.
- At 7:56 p.m., police responded to a fire alarm on Front Street.
- At 4:17 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Atlantic Avenue.
- At 6:02 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Mohawk Road.
- At 7:00 a.m., police were notified that an eviction notice would be issued to a Pleasant Street resident.
