Marblehead Police Looking For Officer Candidates
A residential-preference community, Marblehead residents interested in joining the force can sign up for the state exam on June 12.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents interested in joining the town police force can sign up for the state examination to be held this spring.
A residential-preferential community, the town will look for those who take the June 12 exam who have lived in Marblehead for at least one year. The deadline to sign up for the state exam is April 20.
There is a $50 late fee for applications received after April 20.

Applicants must be 21 years old as of June 12 and have either a high school diploma or GED, or have served three years in the military.
The cost of the test of $100 with fee waivers available online.
