Marblehead 'Ring Around The Neck' Road Race This Sunday
Marblehead Police ask drivers to use caution around Marblehead Neck during the race.
MARBLEHEAD, MA – The 37th annual Ring Around The Neck 5 Mile road race is Sunday, April 23.
The YMCA race circles Marblehead Neck, starting and ending at Devereux Beach. The race includes a Children's Fun Run, post-race awards, music, photos, and refreshments. The race starts at 12:30 p.m.
According to a post on the Marblehead Police Facebook page, officers will arrive at 11:30 a.m. Police will be stationed at the entrance of the beach and along Ocean Avenue. The post asks drivers to exercise caution around the Neck, and when arriving at and leaving the beach.
