Marblehead, Salem Teacher Award Nominees Sought
The Margaret Voss Howard Teacher Recognition Award recognizes one Marblehead and Salem teacher as representatives of district excellence.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Residents of Marblehead and Salem are asked to nominate teachers for recognition who have been examples of excellence in their districts amid the coronavirus pandemic school year.
The Margaret Voss Howard Teacher Recognition Award honors one Marblehead and one Salem teacher each year as representatives of "all the excellent, dedicated teachers in the community who make a difference to children every day."
Each recipient receives a $500 cash award. Educators, parents, students and community citizens are all eligible to place a nomination.

A nomination letter with as many details as possible why a teacher is deserving of the honor can be sent to the award committee here.
Those making nominations are asked to keep them confidential and not to inform the teacher of the nomination prior to the selection process.
