MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead's winter parking ban starts at midnight Sunday. The ban prohibits on-street parking between midnight and 7 a.m. from Dec. 16 until spring, regardless of weather conditions. Violators are subject to a $25 fine and could be towed during a snow emergency.

The town bylaws do contain a provision allowing on-street parking for one hour to allow for late drop offs, food delivery, home health care workers stopping in for medications and other visits.
