Marblehead Student Named A Commended National Merit Scholar
Pingree School's Katherine Silacci was one of 34,000 students recognized nationwide out of 1.5 million candidates.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead's Katherine Silacci is one of five Pingree School students to be named as a commended student as part of the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The program honors students who show "exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies."
Silacci was one of 34,000 students recognized as commended students out of the 1.5 million students who took the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
