Marblehead Students Honored At Colgate, Lehigh, Minnesota, URI

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Noelle Bostley, a 2018 Marblehead High School graduate, received Dean's list recognition both spring and fall of 2020 from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

She is completing her degree a year early in May 2021. She will be graduating with a major in biology, society and environment.

Bostley will also graduate with two minors in sustainability studies and in environmental sciences, policy and management.

Victoria Perlman, of Marblehead, graduated from Hofstra University in December 2020, earning a Master of Arts in Health Law and Policy .

William Liptrot, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2021, earned the fall 2020 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Liptrot is an international relations major and a graduate of Pingree School from Marblehead.

Students who receive a term grade-point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses earn the fall 2020 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence at Colgate.

Victoria Donarumo, of Marblehead, is among the students who made the Dean's List at Regis College. Donarumo is in the class of 2021.

To be eligible for the Dean's List as a senior, junior or sophomore at Regis, a student must have a semester grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50. For first-year students, a semester GPA of at least 3.25 must be attained.

"I am very pleased to see so many of our students excelling across the university," said Regis College Vice President of Academic Affairs Mary Erina Driscoll. "The Dean's List and the diversity of academic disciplines speak to a dedicated student body and to a faculty that promotes intellectual curiosity and achievement."

Students from Marblehead at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Fall 2020. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Margaret Mancusi-Ungaro, Sophie Collins and Sofia Mottola earned honors at the Pennsylvania school.

Daniel Grant, of Marblehead, is among close to 750 students named to the Western New England University Fall 2020 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

"We are so proud of our Dean's List students who demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence in their studies despite the unique challenges of our fall semester," President Robert E. Johnson said.

Grant is working toward a BSBA in Sport Management.

The University of Rhode Island announced three Marblehead students earned Fall 2020 Dean's List honors.

To be included on the URI Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Simone Likterov, Tricia Snell and Carly Sontz earned the honors at URI.
