Marblehead Students Honored At Iowa, Lehigh, Vermont, Union, URI
These Marblehead students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Amanda Gregory, of Marblehead, earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2021 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
Austin Rose, of Marblehead, made the Dean's List for the spring 2021 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Rose also earned a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
Rose was among approximately 4,435 undergraduate and graduate students who earned their degrees during the Spring 2021 semester and were recognized during the Institute's 260th Commencement exercises May 7-8, 2021, at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Jocelyn Cushinsky, Natalie Delgado and Katherine Lothrop, of Marblehead, was named to the spring 2021 Dean's List at Roger Williams University. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
The following Marblehead residents were among the students who received their degrees at Roger Willimas in May as part of the Class of 2021:
Cushinsky graduated cum laude with a B.A. in elementary education.
Henry Martin, of Marblehead, graduates with a B.S. in management.
The University of Rhode Island said four Marblehead students made its spring 2021 Dean's List.
They were: Lily Arnold, Simone Likterov, Westy McCarthy and Tricia Snell.
To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Henry Billings, of Marblehead, earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in economics and political Science, magna cum laude.
Shea Delehaunty, of Marblehead, earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English, summa cum laude.
Justin Faia, of Marblehead, Faia earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in economics.
Paul Roy, of Marblehead, earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in economics.
Bridget Schauder, of Marblehead, earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in sociology.
Isabelle Tinti-Kane, of Marblehead, has been named to the 2021 spring semester Dean's List at Ohio Wesleyan University.
To earn Dean's List recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.
Carter Murray, of Marblehead, was named to the University of Alabama Presidents List for spring semester 2021.
A total of 11,813 students enrolled during the spring 2021 term at The University of Alabama made the Dean's List with academic records of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale), or the President's List with academic records of 4.0 (all A's).
Western New England University said Class of 2021 graduate Daniel Grant (BSBA in Sport Management program), of Marblehead, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester 2021. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
Marblehead students Caroline O'Neill, Sofia Mottola, Sophie Collins and Margaret Mancusi-Ungaro attained Dean's List at Lehigh University in spring 2021. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.
More than 2,100 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2021 semester, including Max Scivetti, a history major from Marblehead.
Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average between 3.5-3.99 for the semester.
The following students were named to St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for achieving academic excellence during the spring 2021 semester:
Charles Hutchinson, of Marblehead. Hutchinson attended Holderness School. Hutchinson is a member of St. Lawrence's Class of 2022.
Hannah Porath, of Marblehead. Porath attended Marblehead High School. Porath is a member of St. Lawrence's Class of 2024.
Andrew Pelrine earned Dean's List honors for the Spring 2021 semester at The College of Saint Rose.
The Dean's List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who complete a minimum of 12 graded credit hours and who achieve a semester average of 3.5 without a D, F, or Incomplete grade.
Pelrine is majoring in Music (BS) at Saint Rose.
Determined to maintain the spirit of joy and optimism that is the hallmark of Vermont's commencement ceremony, but doing so in a safe manner, University of Vermont President Suresh Garimella conferred degrees on graduates at multiple, smaller school and college ceremonies.
"Our emphasis will be on celebrating our students. We are very proud of each and every one of them and salute their accomplishment," Garimella said prior to the ceremonies.
Isabella Barbera, of Marblehead, earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
William Baum, of Marblehead, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
To be named to the dean's list at Vermont, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
Isabel Curtin, Lily Sansons, Nicholas Sears and Barbara Sogoloff earned the honors.
Elsa Richardson-Bach, of Marblehead, was among the more than 7,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean's list for the 2021 spring semester.
Richardson-Bach is a second-year undergraduate student in the UI's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in English and Creative Writing.
Curry College congratulates roughly 1,000 students who were named to the Spring 2021 Dean's List, including Marblehead's David Grenader and Jenna McCarriston.
Alex Rosen, of Marblehead, has been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the Spring 2021 semester.
To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
Rosen is a Communication Studies major at Plymouth State.
Named to the President's List were Alexandra Balunas, Hansen Hundahl, Jasmine Variam, Emmaline Smith, Kyle Lebowitz and Andrew Verrette.
To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the spring 2021 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
