Marblehead/Swampscott Hazardous Waste Collection Day Approaching
Got household waste? Unload it on Marblehead and Swampscott's collection day.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – The towns of Marblehead and Swampscott will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, sponsored by the Marblehead Health Department.
The collection day will be on Saturday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Marblehead Town Garage on 9 Tower Way. Residents can recycle things like tires, TVs and monitors, and propane tanks.
Residents can also bring paints, certain chemicals, fluorescent bulbs, and weed killer. Click here for a full list of what you can and can't bring, and the cost associated with certain recyclables.

The event will not collect commercial or industrial waste, radioactive waste, smoke detectors, infectious and biological wastes, ammunition, fireworks, or explosives, asbestos, medication, or syringes.
