Marblehead Weather: 5 Inches of Snow, Rainout Coming
A spring snowstorm dropped 5 inches on Marblehead; rain is on the way later this week.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead rang in spring with 5 inches of snow.
The first day of spring was Sunday, when snow developed at night and forced Marblehead school officials to cancel classes. Schools will reopen Tuesday.

The snow caused delays at Logan Airport. Few crashes were reported on major highways. Worcester received the most snow with about 7.5 inches.

- Tuesday: Sunny and windy. High of 46 degrees, low 39.
- Wednesday: Chance of rain. High 53, low 35.
- Thursday: Chance of rain. High 50, low 36.
- Friday: Rain likely. High 50, low 34.
