Marblehead Weekend Agenda: Jazz, Drama, Sails and Ripe Tomatoes

Here are a few items to pluck this weekend in your pick of things to do in Marblehead.

Looking for something to do this weekend in Marblehead?
Here are some of the things we found including some music and sailing vessels. And we hope you find one of the season's first ripe tomatoes at the Marblehead Farmers' Market.

Marblehead

  • On Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. (Saturday night's show is sold out) the Marblehead Little Theatre at 12 School St. will present the romantic musical The Fantasticks. Cost:$23 Adults or $15 for Students.
  • On Saturday Jay Geils is part of the New Guitar Summit playing at 8 p.m. at the Unitarian-Universalist Church on Mugford. Here's how to get tickets.
  • On Saturday from 9 to noon at the Marblehead Veterans Middle School
    217 Pleasant Street — enter from Vine Street — is the Marblehead Farmers' Market.
  • All weekend Marblehead will be host to the Sperry Top-Sider Nood Regatta at the Boston Yacht Club. The races start each day at 11 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
