Marblehead's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
Marblehead's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.

MARBLEHEAD, MA —July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Marblehead.
The Fireworks Committee canceled the town's annual fireworks display in April. In addition to concerns that the coronavirus will be a threat in the summer months, the committee was wary of approaching hard-hit local businesses for donations to support the display.
The Boston Pops will present A Boston Pops Salute to Our Heroes to pay tribute to the COVID-19 frontline workers and honor those who have lost their lives during the current health crisis, while also celebrating our diverse nation’s founding values of liberty and justice for all. With public gatherings now banned, A Boston Pops Salute to Our Heroes will be available only on television, radio, and digital media; no live performance will take place.
