Monday Essentials: The Week Ahead in Marblehead

Here is a look ahead at the week of Nov. 11 in Marblehead:


Monday:

The Town of Marblehead and Chaplin Lyman Rollins VFW Post 2005 will be awarding a Commemorative Award to all Marblehead Vietnam Veterans or their families at the Veterans Day services held at Abbot Hall at 10 a.m. on November 11, 2013.

Improvisational comedy. Marblehead Little Theatre will be holding a six week course, taught by Brett Bovio, at 12 School Street, Marblehead for teens and adults beginning in November.  Adult classes will be held on Monday nights starting November 11 from 6:30-8:30.  Teen classes will be held on Tuesday afternoons starting November 12 from 4:00-5:30.  Space is limited.  Fee is $175 for the course. 


Tuesday:

The Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at Abbot Hall. Agenda items include a public hearing on site plan approvals for projects at 10 Mooring Road and 12 Clifton Ave.

Wednesday:

Selectmen meet at 7:30 p.m. at Abbot Hall. Agenda items include a joint meeting with the Marblehead Municipal Light Commission.

Thursday:

The Conservation Commission meets at 7 p.m. at 7 Widger Road in the lower level of the municipal building, enter at the veterans office. Agenda items include the proposed demolition and rebuilding of a Mooring Road home and a Cliff Street driveway expansion.
