Mother and Son in Accident on Atlantic

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

9:13 a.m., a caller reported that her car was rear-ended at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue. The caller and her son complained about neck pain. An ambulance transported a patient to North Shore Children's Hospital.

10:11 a.m., a Sean Way caller reported that a man in a black pick-up was going through the resident's recycle bin. The man left when asked to do so.

11:15 a.m., a Brown Street caller said she and her husband saw an older man in a pick-up truck going through their recycle bins earlier in the day and he left two bags of garbage at the location.

12:23 p.m., a field interview was done on Smith Street.

12:56 p.m., police received a report from Marblehead High School about a parent who got very loud.

2:57 p.m., police received a report from Atlantic Avenue about the fraudulent use of a credit card. The caller changed her mind and decided not to file a report.

10:36 p.m., an Atlantic Avenue caller reported that a family dispute turned into people putting their hands on each other. The parents were offered advice on how to handle a similar situation in the future.
