No Charges After Gun Drawn In Marblehead Argument

Marblehead police said an argument between a man with a gun and a man with a box cutter followed a "pile of misunderstandings."

MARBLEHEAD, MA — No charges had been filed as of Monday afternoon against two dog owners. who got in an argument on Bubier Road in Marblehead.

According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, one of the men came out of his house carrying a box cutter he had been using inside after his dog got loose and approached a man walking a dog. Chief Robert Picariello said the dispute got “a little hot and a little threatening” and the man walking his dog drew a gun.

Picariello said the dispute followed a “pile of misunderstandings” and that the man who drew the gun is licensed to carry it. Neither man’s name was released, and the two men do not appear to know each other.
