Obituary: Betty Kennedy, 66

Betty Kennedy was a church organist for the Archdiocese of Boston for over 30 years.

Betty Kennedy, age 66 of Marblehead, MA passed Tuesday, December 8, 2015 after a long illness. She is survived by her, partner in life, Kathy Byrne of Marblehead, MA, her daughter, Mary E. Kennedy and her husband, Charles Hall of Los Angeles, CA and her son, Jonathan M. Kennedy and wife, Staci Kennedy stationed in the Air Force at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. She was the sister of William A. Sullivan and his wife, Mary of Danvers, MA and Thomas P. Sullivan (Deceased) and his wife Miriam of Marblehead, MA. She is survived by five grandchildren, Rebecca Hall, Nicholas Hall, Hannah Reinhardt, Cambron Reinhardt and Maddison Kennedy. She also leaves, William B. Sullivan III of Florida.

Betty was a church organist for the Archdiocese of Boston for over 30 years, band leader for the Mood Swings and piano teacher (Piano Teachers Guild of the North Shore) for numerous children and adults for over 40 years. She was also Co-Artistic Director for the New School of Performing Arts with Betty Lautner.

She resided in Marblehead all her life and was happiest behind the piano.
