Michael J. Neumann peacefully left this world on July 13 at the age of 88 to meet the creator and bring greetings to those who went before him. His social skills and sense of humor will continue to bring happiness to those up above. Mike led a productive and compassionate life. He served his country in WWII Pacific Rim as a US Coast Guard fireman and cook.
He loved and supported his wonderful family of nine children with his lifelong love and wife of 69 years. A devout Roman Catholic, he believed in giving to the community, as he lead the Board of Registrars and volunteered as a policeman in his hometown of Lynnfield.
In his leisure, he loved boats and the water. He built wonderful memories for his family bringing them on yearly boating trips aboard the Ten N’s. His leadership and social involvement in the Knights of Columbus, the Salem Willows Yacht Club, the Boston Yacht Club, the Down East Yacht Club, and the USCG Auxiliary gave his family wonderful friendships and adventures.
