Lisa Basler of Peabody is battling a rare aggressive form of cancer and needs help with affording continued medical treatment her insurance doesn't cover.
A GoFundMe page set up by a friend of Lisa's says she's battling Stage IV Angiosarcoma and is no longer able to work or afford to pay for treatment on her own.
She's receiving a trial chemotherapy treatment her insurance won't cover and thus needs to pay $1,100 out of pocket weekly to continue the treatment.
Basler and her family also established a fundraising page on GiveForward, a similar site to GoFundMe.
