  • Police responded to a report of plants that had been dug up and stolen from a Chapman Street home last Wednesday around 10 a.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of missing signs from Juniper Street last Wednesday around 6 p.m.
  • Police and firefighters responded to a report of a mattress on fire outside on Rantoul Street on Saturday around 8 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of a bat in a Thorndike Street apartment on Sunday around 2 a.m. Police helped get the bat out of the apartment.

PEABODY

  • Officers retrieved a bag of what appeared to be drugs from a First Avenue medical office on Saturday around 1 p.m. after the business owner found it in the breezeway.
  • Officers responded to a report of people yelling in the street on Monday around midnight on Paleologos Street, and discovered it was kids having a water fight.
  • Police responded to a report of a man making mixed drinks in the parking lot of the Post Office on Wallis Street on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. Officers sent the man on his way.

  • A caller reported hearing people talking about drugs on Countryside Lane on Sunday around 2 a.m.
  • An officer advised drivers involved in a road rage incident on Ocean Avenue on Saturday around 1:30 p.m. not to have a screaming match on the side of the road in front of kids.

SALEM

  • Officers responded to a report of a car alarm on Ward Street on Saturday around 1:30 a.m. The owner was trying to turn off the alarm, and police helped him disconnect the battery to turn off the alarm.
