Police Respond to Rock-Throwing Teens Report
The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 27
- 9:23 a.m., a Hawkes Street resident reported that she is being harassed by her landlord.
- 9:44 a.m., police received a report of identity theft from a Darling Street person.
- 11:11 a.m., an overflowing trash barrel was reported on School Street.
- 11:37 a.m., a walk-in to the police station said vehicles were speeding on Rockaway Street. The police chief spoke to the resident.
- 2 p.m., a boat called in with a Mayday. It was not a Mayday situation but the boat was to be hauled out.
- 4:41 p.m., a Manataug Trail caller reported a phone scam.
- 7:32 p.m., police received a report of teenage girls throwing rocks at cars and that some people were chasing cars. One caller's vehicle was reportedly struck. Police checked the area near Gerry School. They found nothing the length of Elm Street.
