Pop Up Cafe Opens In Marblehead

The Breaking Grounds pop up officially opened this week.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – Northeast Arc's Breaking Grounds Cafe pop up officially opened in the Jewish Community Center in Marblehead on Tuesday. The satellite location will give Northeast Arc a chance to test drive what it's like to have two operational food service businesses.

The pop up is expect to last until Sept. 8, open Monday through Friday, from 7 to 11 a.m. Breaking Grounds offers job training to people with disabilities as part of Northeast Arc's employment services programming. The cafe trains the Arc's clients in customer and food services, and gives them material for their resumes. Since its opening in 2016, the cafe has built a roster of regular customers.
