Woman Taken Into Protective Custody on Pleasant Street

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 7

  • 10:04 a.m., a truck took down a tree on Pinecliff Road, and the tree was in the street. Dispatch notified the Tree Department and they were en route with a chipper.
  • 11:09 a.m., harassment reported on Rowland Street.
  • 11:40 a.m., a Ralph Road resident reported that items were taken from the garage.
  • 2:14 p.m., a vehicle parked by Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue was reportedly struck by a tractor trailer, which left the scene.
  • 4:48 p.m., police received a report of a kayaker by the mouth of the harbor who was failing to make any headway. The harbormaster checked on the situation.
  • 9:40 p.m., police received reports of a possible domestic situation on Pleasant Street with a male screaming. The woman was taken to the station for protective custody.
  • 10:06 p.m., a walk-in to the station reported a man was falling down drunk on Washington Street.
