Put a song in your heart with MLT ‘s Valen-‘Time’ celebration

Let wonderful songs like “Falling Slowly,” “La Vie En Rose,” “My Funny Valentine,” “New Right Hand Man,” and “Till I Hear You Sing” put you in the Valentine spirit during Marblehead Little Theatre’s online “Valen-Time” celebration Saturday, February 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom and Facebook.

MLT celebrities Stanis and Gary Ames, Alexandra Alene Dietrich, Lianne Goodwin and Michael Bunting, Bobby Kerrigan, Anne Lucas, Becky Ruccio, Thom Smoker and Andrew Hankinson will provide an evening of music.

There will be trivia, prizes and surprises plus special messages from Betty Lautner who came to Marblehead Little Theatre following an illustrious career on Broadway and from Nate Bertone, Katie Gaherty, Andy Jones and DJ Plunket who went from MLT to Broadway.

Real-life husband-and-wife MLT celebrities Ursina Amsler and Erik Rodenhiser will host the event.

Facebook participation will be live and free. Or pay what you can (minimum $1) to be a live audience participant on Zoom.

If you are among the first 30 people to make an online donation of $20 or more to MLT and live in Marblehead, Swampscott or Salem, an MLT volunteer will hand-deliver a celebration gift package to your doorstep. The deadline for this gift package offer is Wednesday, February 10.

Children of all ages are invited to further join the celebration by helping to decorate the MLT vestibule at 12 School Street in Marblehead. Just make a paper or multi-media valentine measuring no larger than 8 inches by 8 inches, drop it off in the red basket in the vestibule or mail it to MLT at 12 School Street, Marblehead MA 01945, and the MLT design team will display your art on the vestibule windows.
