Car Break-Ins on Ruby and Roosevelt Avenues

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Aug. 26

  • At 8:07 a.m., a Ruby Avenue caller reported someone entered her car and ransacked it but it did not appear anything was stolen. She said she did not want to speak to an officer. The woman called back and reported a GPS and charger were taken but still did not want to speak to an officer.
  • At 9:46 a.m., a Roosevelt Avenue caller said his car was broken into and the only items take were change.
  • At 11:08 a.m., a Pilgrim Road caller reported that he was being harassed.
  • At 3:19 p.m., a Pleasant Street call reported a man just tried to pass a false check.
  • At 4:38 p.m., a May Street caller reported finding a red purse with contents strewn over the lawn. The purse may be connected to recent car breaks.
