Ribbon-Cutting Held for Horticulture Program at Rehab Center

The Lafayette Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility held a ribbon-cutting last week to celebrate the start of "Good to Grow."

The Lafayette Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility recently added a horticulture program and the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting for the occasion, according to a blog on Patch.

Lafayette Administrator George Barbuzzi recently started "Good to Grow," a horticultural program that helps patients rehab through gardening.

The ribbon-cutting for the program was recently held on July 24.

Marblehead resident and Certified Horticultural Therapist Lisa Biggio first proposed the idea to Barbuzzi, who immediately jumped on board.
