Scooter Sparks Marblehead House Fire
There were no injuries reported in the early-morning house fire in Marblehead.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Everyone got safely out of a house on Curtis Street in Marblehead that caught on fire early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. While the cause remains under investigation, fire officials believe the fire was started by an electric scooter that was charging in the home. A portion of the house's roof collapsed during the fire, and there was heavy damage throughout the structure.
