Son Locks Steering Wheel to Father's Car

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.


Monday, Oct. 14

  • 11:51 a.m., a caller reported finding money at Crocker Park.
  • 12:26 p.m., a walk-in to the police station said she a cell phone and bracelet were stolen from a yacht club on Saturday.
  • 11:20 P.M., a drunken Washington Street man was taken into protective custody.
Tuesday, Oct. 15
  • 00:27 a.m., an agent called police to notify them that they were repossessing a vehicle on Hines Court. The resident called and said she was frightened by the knocking on her door by the repossession representative.
  • 12:02 p.m., a Green Street man was transported to the hospital after a well-being check.
  • 1:58 p.m., a man who was walking his dog on the rail bed called police and reported that a male in front of him was carrying what looked to be a rifle.
  • 2:51 p.m., a Harding Lane man called 911 to complain that his son put a lock on the steering wheel of his car even though he reportedly passed his driving test. The caller wanted police to come over with skeleton key to unlock the steering wheel so he could drive the car.
  • 4:13 p.m., a bicyclist at Watson Street and Elm Street was down and transported to the hospital. It was unknown if the bicyclist was hit by a car or fell off the bike. 
  • 4:22 p.m., a dispute between neighbors was reported on Creesy Street.
  • 6:01 p.m., a confrontation took place on Lafayette Street between a woman and an ex-girlfriend of her husband.
