SPUR Finds Sponsors For 70 Percent Of Students In Need
The nonprofit is still looking for sponsors for 180 local students' back-to-school supplies.
MARBLEHEAD, MA – SPUR, a local 501(c)3 public charity has secured sponsors for 70 percent of the children in Lynn, Marblehead, Salem and Swampscott who would otherwise go without a new backpack and school supplies according to their school counselors and program case workers.
However, 180 local children still need sponsors by this coming Friday in order to receive a new backpack and school supplies. Click here to learn more about the drive.
