Two Candidates For School Committee to Interview Wednesday
One of the candidates will fill the vacancy that arose with the resignation of Richard Nohelty on Aug. 15.
School Committee candidates Jonathan Lederman and Michael K. Murphy will interview in public with the School Committee and Selectmen on Wednesday.
The joint assembly of committee and board members will then select a candidate to fill the vacant seat that opened when Richard Nohelty resigned on Aug. 15.
This will be the second committee vacant seat to be filled this summer.Â
In late July, William Ackerman was appointed to the School Committee for the remaining year in former member EuRim Chun’s term.
Five candidates sought that opening.Â
Each was asked identical questions by the panelists in 25-minute interviews before the assembly went with Ackerman.
