Walter W. Rostron: Veteran, Traveler, Beloved Husband

Walter W. Rostron of Marblehead died on Wednesday, Jan. 7. He was 85.

Rostron will be remembered for his love of music and peaceful spirit, according to his obituary. He and his wife of 63 years, Jean Rostron, traveled cross-country on numerous occasions in an RV, taking time to teach on an Indian reservation and participate in an archaeological dig along the way.

He was active at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Marblehead.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 12 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home in Marblehead. Ac celebration of life will be held Feb. 7 at Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead.
