4 New Members Join MetroWest Boys, Girls Club Board
The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest held its annual board meeting on Tuesday.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest annual board meeting was held this week, and the organization chose four new members to join the board. The club also elected new board leaders during the Tuesday meeting.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest (BGCMW) added four new members to the Board
of Directors during the annual meeting held on Tuesday, March 23rd. Joining the resource development committee includes Kerri Robinson, Assistant Vice President, Marketing Product Manager at Middlesex Savings Bank, David D’Angelo, Vice President of Global Portfolio Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific and William Ortiz, educator at Framingham High School. Joining the newly created diversity, equity, and inclusion committee is Ameresco Vice President of Human Resources and Operations Lauren Todd.

Along with new Board members, the Club also appointed new officers including Chair Cary Corkin, President of Entwistle Companies, and Treasurer, Larissa Thurston, CFO and COO of St. Mary’s Credit Union. These two members will be joining long-standing board clerk, Rosemary Corley, a retired educator.
BGCMW and the entire Board of Directors has an ambitious vision for the future that insures that the organization meets the needs of their youth and families in the best possible way. One of the Board’s strategic priorities is to strengthen the organization and grow resources and capacity to deliver high quality operations. This diverse Board will also position Boys & Girls Clubs as a strong advocate for youth in each community that they serve. Finally, the most important priority is serving as a voice for youth and empowering youth to have a voice during this new year.
