5 Things You Need To Know Today: Feb. 24
There are several concerts in Marlborough this weekend, and Patch is still looking for more bloggers. Is it your turn?

1. Marlborough Patch will be launching this coming Monday. Readers will have the opportunity to vote on a variety of categories, and winners will be presented with a "Best of" certificate. We'll kick things off by asking you who has the best sandwich in Marlborough. Help us get things started off on the right foot by listing your favorite sandwich in the comment field below. This will help ensure we add everyone to our poll.
2. The will host two top singer/songwriters this weekend: Friday night Ashley Jordan (a vocally-driven singer/songwriter playing a dynamic pop) and Kim Jennings (a prolific and prodigious songwriter) will play from 7 to 9 p.m. On Saturday, Feb. 25 Luke Liddy (one of the best American singer-songwriters with a voice to match, said a release) and Lisa Martin (part of Red Lion Records and playing emotionally charged acoustic rock) will play from 7 to 9 p.m. The shows are for all ages. No cover is charged, but artist donations are encouraged.
3. The city of Marlborough has established an official Facebook page. They will answer citizen questions and keep you up to do date on some important data. They have more than 300 followers already. Is it your time to give them a "like"?

4. The Citizen’s Scholarship Foundation of Marlborough recently invited the Marlborough community to the Sixth Annual Team Trivia Challenge sponsored by . It will again be held at the Masonic Temple Heritage Hall on the corner of Main and Newton Streets Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. Teams may consist of up to eight members. DJ Joel Bates will again provide the questions and scoring. Team prizes are awarded to the first and second place teams as well as to the “Best Team Name.” The entry fee is $200 per team and includes a light dinner, desserts, and an evening of laughs and friendly competition. Teams do not have to be sponsored: eight friends can enter as a team. Organizations can also sponsor a team, and the CSF will find team members for your team.
