7 Percent Of Marlborough Without Power
Wicked wind gusts knocked out power for more than 1,400 overnight.
HAMILTON, MA — Powerful winds knocked out power for more than 1,400 customers overnight, leaving 7 percent of Marlborough in the dark.
There were 31,627 customers without power as of 7 a.m., according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Marlborough accounted for 1,435 of the outages. There was no estimated time of restoration.
Wind gusts of more than 50 miles per hour swept through Massachusetts overnight. A wind advisory remains in effect until 3 p.m.
