All I-495 Lanes Closed Due To Crash: State Police
The crash was reported just before 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes, according to state police.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — State police shut down all southbound I-495 lanes Thursday morning after a crash in Marlborough. State police were warning drivers to expect "significant" delays during the morning commute.
There were only minor injuries as a result of the crash, which happened near mile marker 64. The crash was first reported at 7:45 a.m. By 8:15 a.m., traffic was getting by in the right lane and breakdown lane.
According to MassDOT traffic maps, southbound traffic was backed up between Bolton and Route 9. I-290 eastbound was also backed up from Whitney Avenue in Northborough to the I-495 interchange.
