Another I-495 Ramp Closure Coming To Marlborough

MassDOT is repairing a bridge at the Simarano Drive exit. The work continues this week.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — MassDOT will shut down an I-495 ramp in Marlborough this week to continue ongoing bridge repair work.

Exit 23C to Simarano Drive will close at 8 p.m. Thursday and reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, according to MassDOT. The same exit was closed overnight on Feb. 25 for the same bridge repair work.

If you need to use the exit during the closure, traffic will be detoured to exit 24B (Route 20 westbound toward Northborough) and then back onto I-495 southbound to access Simarano Drive.

The work is weather-dependent. The current forecast calls for clear skies overnight Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
