Biker Seriously Injured After Crashing Motorcycle In Marlborough
According to the Marlborough Police Department, the biker, a man in his 60s from Maine, struck a fire hydrant and utility pole.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A biker from Maine is recovering from serious injuries he sustained over the weekend, according to Marlborough police.
Sgt. Zachary Attaway told Patch that around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, two motorcycles were traveling from Hudson into Marlborough on Pleasant Street when one of them drove off the roadway and struck a fire hydrant and utility pole.
When medics arrived on scene, Attaway said the biker was unconscious.

He was transported to Marlborough Hospital and then life flighted to UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Police said the biker suffered serious injuries to his lower and upper body as well as to his head. His current condition is unknown.
Following the crash, police said the second biker remained on scene and provided a statement to officers.
