Bunch Of Junk: Marlborough Fundraiser Seeks Unwanted Items

Get rid of your junk at Navin Rink on Saturday with all fees going to support two local nonprofits.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Your trash is treasure to the Rotary Club of Marlborough and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The two local nonprofits are hosting a junk removal event this weekend in Marlborough where residents can drop off unwanted items for a fee. All proceeds will go back to the two nonprofits.

Each car load of junk will cost $40 to get rid of, but there are also fees for single items like TVs ($40 each), treadmills ($25) and car batteries ($10). There are also some items that won't be accepted, like wood scraps, fluids, styrofoam and mattresses. You can find a full list of what's accepted on the Marlborough Rotary website.
