Clinton Man, 41, Killed In I-495 Crash

The crash happened early Tuesday and involved a tractor-trailer driven by a Woonsocket, R.I., man.

BOLTON, MA — A Clinton man was killed early Tuesday in a collision with a semitrailer along I-495 near the Bolton-Berlin line, according to state police.

The collision happened just before 3 a.m. when John Keeley, 41, hit the rear of a semi driven by a 56-year-old man from Woonsocket, R.I., state police said in a news release.

Keeley suffered severe injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The driver of the semitrailer had only minor injuries.

The crash was still under investigation on Tuesday afternoon, and police had not announced any arrests or infractions.
