Construction Of New Industrial Park Underway In Marlborough
Developers recently received approval to convert the former Marlboro Airport into a 20-acre industrial park, according to reports.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Construction on a new industrial development in Marlborough is underway following final approval by the city's Planning Board. According to reports, Capital Group Properties of Southborough is working to convert the former Marlboro Airport into a 20-acre industrial park.
Construction crews removed the airplane hangars this summer and are now preparing the Airport Industrial Park for construction, Wicked Local Marlborough reports. Capital Group Properties will start building the road into the new facility soon, according to company officials.
Capital Group plans to develop about 15 lots ranging in size from a half-acre to two acres.. Companies will then purchase lots and construct their buildings. Fitness and manufacturing businesses have expressed interest in locating there, project officials said.

Capital Group Properties purchased the former airport from owner Sandy Stetson last December for $2.25 million.
